But now it seems like we have been crediting a wrong person all along. No, Ms. Shah has nothing to do with this. Don’t believe us? We burrowed Mr Sherlock Holmes’ services just for a bit to do some sleuthing for us and here’s what we found out. Daisy Shah is a hapless victim who’s being framed and the real culprits behind this kick-ass dialogue are director Remo D’Souza and writer Shiraz Ahmed. You ask why? Because Race 3 is not the only movie with a gem of a dialogue like this one. In fact all other movies made by Remo boast of such precious one liners. We have a list and trust us, you will not be disappointed.

ABCD starring Prabhu Deva, Ganesh Acharya, Kay Kay Menon in lead roles had a line which goes like this, “PUT YOUR HEART INTO DANCE AND DANCE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOUR HEART.” Now let’s come to its sequel ABCD 2, which was a smash hit of 2015 starring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor. Remo D’Souza came up with this one line which totally had us ROFL. After the film ended, he quoted himself stating, “LIFE IS ALL ABOUT THE NEXT STEP.” Heavy!!

Remo’s next venture A Flying Jatt with the dancing star Tiger Shroff was totally forgettable box office wise but we can never overlook this one line which by the way is Master Remo’s quote again from his personal collection. The movie ends with this line: ‘EVERYTHING HAS AN ALTERNATIVE. EXCEPT MOTHER EARTH.’

But the best dialogue from his filmography was in his debut film. Remo made his directorial debut with Faltu which feature Jackky Bhagnani. This one penned by the choreographer-turned-director himself along with writer Mayur Puri, however, takes the cake from Daisy’s Race 3 line by a long shot. No, not kidding. Here is the award-winning dialogue from the film which goes like, “CHILDREN ARE NEVER USELESS … IT’S JUST THAT THEY ARE USED LESS.”

However, at the end of the day, Remo has managed to bring us some smiles with his unintentionally funny dialogues and well, we aren’t complaining. As for Daisy, we hope she can now chill, as the onus of this BUSINESS is not on her anymore.

As far as his research for the film is concerned, Shoojit Sircar went on to confess that he wanted to make a film on Udham Singh since the time he arrived in Mumbai. Although he ended up making some versatile films in the past, this will be Shoojit’s first film on a patriotic martyr.

Speaking on how he has always idolized Udham Singh, Shoojit stated that this hero, despite his sacrifices hasn’t found his name in history. After Bhagat Singh, the work of Udham Singh was one of the major turning points in history. He mentioned that he visited Amritsar and Jallianwala Bagh in Punjab during his theatre days in 1995. That’s when he got inspired by the story of Singh who killed the then Lieutenant Governor of Punjab, Sir Michael O’Dwyer. The revolutionary did so to avenge the 1919 massacre.

On the other hand, Shoojit also confirmed that Irrfan Khan fits the bill perfectly. He believes that Irrfan has the finesse and depth that is required to play Udham Singh. Adding to it is also the fact that Irrfan is aware of the history of Punjab.

As mentioned before, Shoojit is expecting to kick off the film by the end of this year.

Speaking on his new venture, Varun Dhawan confessed that this brand is his brainchild. Although he maintained that he doesn’t know much about entrepreneurship, he added that he has worked from scratch for this line. As of now, the apparels are available in solid colours with each of them having slogans on it.

Elaborating on the slogans, Varun mentioned that it isn’t really his musings as such but something that can resonate with the current generation. The actor also honestly stated that he also has a team looking it and the idea is to keep it simple since that will have more connect. However, he was quick to add that the slogans are indeed his!

On the other hand, Varun Dhawan also stated that his collection is little and few. The Gen Y superstar believes that he wants to sell the clothing line on merit. If it succeeds, he will extend the brand further with more additions to the collection. He is, however, happy to see the positive his brand has been receiving by far.

The said collection of Dhawan & Only is available at FBB [Fashion Big Bazaar] outlets in metropolitan cities. Interestingly, Varun himself endorses FBB as he is the brand face of the men’s collection.

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has also stated in these reports that the world has given some major problems to the youth today like anxiety, depression, panic attacks, attention deficiency etc. which didn’t exist earlier. From peer pressure to performance pressure to competition pressure, the youth has to deal with a lot more around whilst structuring their life.

The filmmaker aims to tell this story with a father-son setup as he wants to portray the comparison between two different generations. Although he adds that it isn’t going to be an easy task, he is keen on taking it up. He has even been approaching many stars to understand what the response is for the same since the final casting is yet to be locked.

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has refused to divulge any details about who is in his mind for the respective roles. He said in these reports that he doesn’t have a dream cast in mind but also mentioned that he has three to four actors in mind. But he is still unsure about who will agree to the film as according to him, a lot depends on the mindset during which they will absorb the story.

On the production front, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra will be co-producing Fanne Khan along with T-Series. The film that aims at portraying issues like body shaming will star Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao.
